Medical Biotechnology Awards
The MEBID award programme was created to support medical biotechnology work and researchers in Türkiye, and it will keep supporting academics and young entrepreneurs every year. Applications are evaluated by a jury of academics and industry representatives, and the top three projects and researchers receive awards of varying amounts.

MEBID Awards
To apply, fill in the attached application form completely and send it by 1 October 2018 to “odul@mebid.org“. Results will be announced on our website on 15 November 2018. Applicants must work as academics at a university in Türkiye and must hold a doctorate as of 1 October 2018. Any medical biotechnology project with commercial potential may apply.
In addition to the cash prize, the winning project will be offered the chance to commercialise the project with the backing of angel investors.
All winners will receive their awards at the ceremony to be held in December 2018.
Young MEBID Awards
To apply, fill in the attached application form completely and send it by 1 October 2018 to “odul@mebid.org“. Applicants must be under 40 years of age as of 1 October 2018. Researchers at start-ups, researchers in the public sector or at universities, and university students may all apply. Any medical biotechnology project with commercial potential may apply.
In addition to the cash prize, the winning project will be offered the chance to commercialise the project with the backing of angel investors.
All winners will receive their awards at the ceremony to be held in December 2018.
